fawcetts barn villa in skipton was even better than our previous stay! it exceeded all expectations with its spaciousness, comfort, and well-equipped kitchen. the owner was lovely too! highly recommend for a relaxing getaway.

We were actually surprised by the spaciousness of Fawcetts Barn. It was perfect for our group, providing plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. The bedrooms were a good size and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. We were also grateful for the Welcome Hamper prepared by the host. The location was ideal for exploring the area, with a pub conveniently located just around the corner.

One minor drawback was the lack of a proper garden or outdoor space to sit and relax. finding the hotel was a bit challenging at first, as we had to ask for directions at the farm shop nearby.

Had an amazing Christmas getaway with friends at this cozy countryside barn. Loved the spacious and well-equipped kitchen, complete with a plumbed American fridge freezer for storing all our festive goodies. The comfortable and roomy interior provided us with plenty of space to relax and enjoy meals together. Additionally, the barn's location was perfect, allowing us to easily access beautiful walking routes straight from the door and enjoy stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The nearby pub served a delicious Sunday lunch that we couldn't resist!

Although the barn had many positives, there were a few drawbacks to consider. The showers weren't consistent, going from scorching to freezing, and the water pressure in the en-suite bathroom sink was lacking.

I absolutely adored the charming rustic decor of Fawcetts Barn! The stone walls and cozy furnishings created a welcoming and nostalgic atmosphere that reminded me of my childhood visits to the countryside. The communal areas were spacious and easily accessible for someone of my age. It was wonderful to be able to relax and socialize in such a comfortable setting.

I would have appreciated a better range of activities specifically tailored for seniors. Perhaps some organized group excursions or gentle exercise classes would have been nice.
